Visiting the Willamette Valley offers an opportunity to taste the small production wines from passionate producers, rarely seen outside the Willamette Valley. The charming town of Carlton is located in Yamhill County, the heart of Oregon Wine Country. Carlton wineries include some of Willamette Valley's best-known. It is home to some of its best-kept secrets. When visiting the area, there are several ways you can experience PROJECT M's Willamette Valley Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Riesling.

Private Tasting Appointments

Through four wines, we'll lead you through the Willamette Valley. These are informal experiences, often in the cellar and with the Winemaker. There is no script. The conversations will be directed by your questions, the wines, and the whims of your host. These tastings are among the most engaging tasting experience in the Valley. Appointments are approximately 90 minutes long and cost $30/taster (credited towards purchases over $200/taster). A non-refundable deposit is required.

In-home private Tastings

A fantastic wine experience doesn’t require visiting a winery tasting room. Instead, you can bring the PROJECT M private tasting experience to your home or vacation rental. Winemaker Jerry Murray will join you at your location to guide you through tasting a selection of PROJECT M Wines. The cost is $50/taster with a minimum of four tasters. The tasting fee can be refunded with a minimum purchase of $250/taster. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your appointment. Travel outside of Yamhill County may require additional fees.

The Carlton Winemakers Studio

A groundbreaking shared winemaking facility, the Carlton Winemaker Studio is home to many of the Willamette Valleys' best winemakers. More than sixteen brands call the "Studio" home. Their tasting room offers a rotating selection of wines for tasting and sale, often including a PROJECT M Wine. In addition, they usually accommodate requests to taste a PROJECT M wine not featured. They also offer private tastings that can include or exclusively feature PROJECT M if requested.
